Teacher student sex: Ringgold guidance counsellor busted for sex with adult male - TomoNews

MONONGAHELA, PENNSYLVANIA — A former high school counsellor has been charged with “institutional sexual assault” for having sex with an 18-year-old male student from Ringgold High School in Monongahela, Pennsylvania.

Lianne Danko, 33, was arrested Thursday morning. Rostraver Township police allege Danko engaged in at least two sexual encounters with the male football player at a Park & Ride in November 2014.

According to police, the illicit relationship began when the student sought Danko’s help with girl problems. The pair exchanged intimate text messages, which included a photo of Danko wearing lingerie.

Danko and the student raised eyebrows when Danko was seen wearing the student’s jersey bearing his name at a school athletic event. They hugged after the game.

The affair grew intimate when the two agreed to meet at the Park & Ride along Route 201 and Interstate 70 on November 14. Police say Danko performed a sex act on the student in his car. A second rendez vous occurred in the same parking lot about a week later.

The affair came to light after the student bragged to a friend, who then informed a second guidance counsellor, Laura Manko.
